I have had a DR PowerWagon since '96, and it has been GREAT for getting in and out of tight and steep places. I'm at 8000 ft in Colorado, so my engine is effectively less than 5 hp and I have no problems even with heavy loads (like full to max with dirt/rocks).
I put some large handles on the front end pannel to make it easier to lift it up when dirt piled behind it. Also some J hooks on the side pannels to hook bungies to when hauling a big pile of brush or branches.
Traction improves with heavier loads. If going down hill, choose low gear and keep the throttle up just enough to keep the clutch engaged and you will have good control. (Has a disc brake also.)
A stone masson I know bought one after seeing mine, and has had it over 4 years and loves it. Says it saves him much time and effort and lets him do many jobs without a helper. He loads and overloads his with rock, flagstone, morter mix, sand, etc. and it keeps on going (also at 7 to 8000 ft altitude).
I also have a 30 HP CUT with FEL and attachments, but the DR PowerWagon is the only thing that works for many tasks at my place.
For what it does best, you can't beat it!
