I have owned various models of the DR mowers all the way from the clunky ' hi-wheel ' 8 HP model up to my purchase of the latest 14.5 HP, electric start with " power steering ". I still have the 10.5 HP pull-start which I actually prefer . . except I'm getting a bit old to be pulling that starter rope ( which can hurt you, if you believe what the B&S manual says ). It turns out that the 14.5 HP machine is just too heavy for my lumpy/hilly terrain and I'd like to get rid of it ( maybe has 5 hours total on it ).
