Dong Feng 254b Parts?

I have a 2003 model Terra Plane tractor that is actually a Dong Feng 254b. The clutch slips on the unit even after I Have adjusted it so there is plenty of free play. Also the unit is not presently charging the Battery.

Where can I get parts for this thing? I bought it from a private party and dont know of any dealer. I live in Mid Missouri. (Rolla). Is there a place that will sell mail Order parts for this unit?

Any Help Would be appreciated.

The entire US distribution of Dong Feng and Taskmaster tractors seems to have been interupted. I am not aware of any current importers or active dealers, however I have just returned from a meeting at this factory in China and plan to make parts and DF tractors available again very soon. Another party in Canada is continuing the Taskmaster brand. If you split your tractor to look at the clutch, it may be that it is comon to other chinese tractors OR you may be able to have the disk relined by a rebuilder, if the pressure plates are not badly worn/burned. I suspect the electrical system is similar enough to a JInma that those parts would probably take care of your charging issue. Charge the battery and take a voltage reading on the battery, then start the tractor, the voltage should increase, if not the charging system is not working. Try the voltage regulator if that does not fix it then you may need an alternator. Your engine is common to Jinma and KAMA 25HP models so those parts are easy.

Jack,Jinma parts are common,check out the charging system as Chip has said,take a pic of a bad part you may have to see if a Jinma part is the same.Several of the chinese tractor manufactors use the same parts suppliers
