Does your B7500 have one of these?

I noticed by looking at the brochure that the b2410 has a piece of sheet metal that spans the right and left rear fenders between the ROPS. Attached to it is a hook to hold the top link.

After looking at my 7500 it looks like it was designed to have this same piece but mine does not. I was thinking that my dealer left it off when he assembled my tractor.

Does your B7500 have this piece of sheet metal?

Mine ain't got one. There was a thread about a top link holder. When mine ain't in use it's either in the garage or my front or sometimes back pocket.

No the 7500 does not have that feature. That is the rear closeout panel I refered to in one of my examples of why I bought the 2410 vs the 7500. This panel gives the tractor a more finished look and does have the hook for the top link to stow in. You might be able to purchase this metal closeout and install it yourself. I like the way it looks and I like the ability to stow the top link there but other than that it is certainly not a big deal, just one of the little differences (and this is a little difference) that separates the 7500 Standard tractor from the 2410 Deluxe tractor. Yeah, I am pretty sure you could install that piece if it was terribly important to you. Good luck.

Mike, I have one/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Here is the thread resurrected for you, It fits as you can see from my attachment. Sure is nice not to have the toplink banging around Click Here /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I have my rear worklight mounted on it.

By the way did it cost around $30 bucks as Kubmech suggested? Did you have to remove the fender and was it any big deal?

It was about what Kubmech said. And I didnt have to remove the fenders/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I loosened some of the fender bolts and it fit right in and bolted it up. I think I had to bend the tabs a little but it was easy to do, then you have a clip to hold your toplink/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Also there is a hole in it that I used to install a switch to turn my light on that I mounted on my fender. Heres a closer Pic.

That is a very nice photo. I take it that the part came with the hook to hold the upper link of the 3pt. I called my dealer and ordered one for my B7500. He asked if any special holes had to be drilled to install it or if it mounts as-is. I told him I would ask...

The B2710 came with that piece of metal across there and the hook to hold the top link. I really liked that. The only problem is that the hook ain't big enough to hold my hydraulic top link now./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
