Does "rust free" exist east of the Mississippi River?

The high mileage post got me thinking. I will soon be in the market (PA state inspection) for another used tow vehicle and since most of my vehicles rust out before they wear out (major mechanical issues) how far South/SouthWest from Pennsylvania do I need to go to find "rust free" vehicles?

same here been looking at some trucks in Texas there R titles mostly recovered thefts, FYI if you see a R title car or truck run the vin number on the web 99 % of the time you will see the auction for that truck or car and the damage that was on it

NC, SC, GA, TN and AL have them as long as you stay stay from the shore.
Next car will probbaly come from NC as I have a good friend who I would trust to "3rd base" a vehicle for me so I could just fly down with a one way ticket and pickup temp tags down there.

Find a friend in Arizona. Had a friend from high school that made regular trips out west to bring back the 69-72 chevy truck parts to Ohio. Finally after 20 years of trying got into GM,s Powertrain plant in Defiance. Good thing he traveled when he was young.

Im amazed at the diffrence between memphis and st louis for rust condtion having lived in both for quite a few years.
