As noted previously, you can often get a better deal if you haggle over extras rather than price. A workshop manual (WSM) is key if you want to do any maintnsnce on your machine beyond greasing & fluid changes. Service supplies for your first couple scheduled maintnance intervals are common. There are less things in the 50 hour service than you might expect, so get them to go for all of them up to the 300 hour or something if you can.
I've seen people say 10% off MSRP, but that's been a little more than I've been able to manage.
Definitely shop around & let the salesman know you are shopping around. My local dealer has been close or better on price so o just stick with them. I might have been able to save a couple hundred in the short term, but I like the dealer & they treat me well in the long run.
