A friend just gave me this stove and I am looking for more information on it. All concrete lined, very well built, 8" double wall vent. Probably installed in about 1985.

Thanks.

It kinda looks like a Vermont Castings logo, but do not know for sure.

Looks like a nice stove...

Thank your friend. Good wood stoves are by no means cheap these days.

Nice! Look all around it. Surely the company put their name on it somewhere (back or bottom maybe).

We have an old Franklin that my Wife's grandfather put in the basement when he built the house in 1970. They are nice to have when power goes out from a storm in the middle of winter.

Heck with the price of gas these days I burn wood all winter, power or not. I only use the fans in the central units to circulate and distribute the heat throughout the house. I have the fans in the central units (LP fired) wired to the backup generator circuits so I can heat the whole house. The little wood stove I have will run us out if I don't keep it down to a low fire.

cool stove, i don't think it's vermont castings,
and a quick search for round stoves and i came up with this picture
form a house listed for sale in trinidad CA, looks like the same manufacturer,,
i am betting it's a west coast manufacturer, or western canada?

Thanks Dutch. That's the same one, I have that screen too. I did a lot of searching and found nothing. Any chance you could link that house for sale?
