Does anyone here have a Farmall Super C or any other Farmall with duals on it? Maybe you've seen one? The umbrella is a hot day option.

Here's my tractor

Here's what I'm thinking about.

Has anyone here done this or know anything about it? I only use this tractor for tractor drives or to pull other equipment around the yard. It will only see dirt if I find mounted cultivators or planter.

I have never seen a tractor that small on duals since what implement would they pull that would be that wide.

If just for show and tell then I suspect you could add band type or rim mount duals.

For stability or traction? I see that yours has the front and rear wheels set in the narrowest position, so I'm guessing duals would be for traction or just for fun.

No, I don't know what is involved with mounting duals on yours.
It looks like you have some extra rear axle length, so maybe it is just as simple as adding another wheel and mounting collar. I hope to follow along if you do it.

I don't recall seeing a little Farmall with duals. No point to them really, since they don't have the HP to require that traction.

Sure looks neat, though...

The stability would be nice but that's all. As mentioned, this is a parade and tractor drive item only. It will never see dirt.

Just for fun comes to mind. I think I have enough axle stub to mount another wheel with clamp and that would be easy. One negative is that it won't fit correctly on trailer. Might need to put some weight on the tongue and put the duals as far forward on the trailer as I can.

Sure looks neat is my point. I need to think of things to keep busy so I don't slow down as I get older.

I have a set of shop built adapters that I had built when I worked at a machine shop to put duals on a Ford 1100 that is four wheel drive. It made that little tractor look like it could pull anything! It was fun to play with the only time it ever saw snow!

There are lots of big tractors around here and many with duals. A Deere 9000 with duals, and especially wide flotation duals, is wider than many of the roads. We used to see big tractors with triples but now almost all have switched to tracks.

Duals on a parade tractor are cool and not many guys do it. If I can find the parts, I'm doing it.

Axle length is most important, as Super C's had 3 different axle lengths available. Yours look fairly long, so it should be doable.

If you zoom in on this picture, you'll notice this person reversed the wheels with clamps to the outside, and tires on the inside of the wheels which should set the tires in as far as possible. The outside wheels & tires were put on as they normally are.

You'd probably have to set your fenders in and adapt you're umbrella brackets to fit.

The wheels shouldn't be all that expensive. Last Fall when at Gene's recycling at Attica, OH. I saw some laying in what I'd consider the scrap pile, as I doubt not too many people are looking for them. Tires, tubes and rims will be the expensive part.

Right now, I'd have to guess the best bet for finding all those parts in one place is to call Charm Tractor. Word is, he's planning on building a Bed & Breakfast on the property where the salvage tractors are now setting. Last Fall on Black Friday there were several C's/Super C's setting up there with at least the rear wheels, seems a couple were still on tires, but a lot can change in 6 months as to what is left. Only takes a phone call to find out.
