I found this manufacturer on the internet. They said they are not the same company as Ingersol-rand [ melrose bob cat ]
The spec on the tractor looks good when I called for a quote they told me 15,940 with free delivery list price is 24,675.
The backhoe digs 8' and the front loader lifts 935 lbs. It has a 20 hp kohler gas engine. They claime the hydrolics are exclusive that the hydrolic pump is coupled off the engin and not part of the hydrostatic transmission. Is this a good dependable tractor ?

David, it's not that we are unaware of this machine, it's just that no one has one. I looked at them, but thought it overpriced. To be competitive with other CUTs, I feel they should drop a small diesel in it, offer QT loader and backhoe, and do it without raising the price. Other than that, it is an impressive looking tractor.

In general, Ingersoll is well known and respected company that produces excellent machinery, capable of lasting a lifetime of heavy use. There's no reason to think that the 7000 series is any different.

They are overpriced for what you get. Ingersoll-Rand owns Bobcat, Ingersoll Equipment Co. is a different company with similar name.

David; There are some of us on TBN that have experience with Ingersoll tractors. Most of us agree that they are a very rugged piece of equipment with dated design features. One thing is for sure, the hydraulic transmission is pretty much indestructible! When I replaced my 448, the price the Ingersoll dealer gave me was within a $1000 of what I bought my BX 2200 for. No contest!

Dave,

I had a 446, built like a tank. I was gong to trade up to a newer model. For $1000 more I got a BX2200 with a diesel engine, 4 wd, etc. On my 446 I had a cab, tiller, blade that I could have used on the new Ingersol. But when you look at what the $1000 buys you it was not a tough decision. I also found parts for the Ingersol expensive, I paid $30 to replace a dipstick on the engine. Dealers are far and few, I had a dealer 10 minutes from my house. Are they a good tractor YES, can you get more for your $ with a different tractor YES!

Good luck
