Doe anyone else miss Prairie Home Companion?

So now that Prairie Home's follow on show "Live From Here" is gone too, I don't know of any other radio variety programs that are still being broadcast. I always made time to spend a couple of hours from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to listen to Prairie Home on Saturday night on the local NPR Station. Went to several of the shows over the years and saw a few more that were live televised to theaters. Never made it to the Fitzgerald Theater in Saint Paul though. They were always great entertainment, with the sketches, like Guy Noir, Lives Of The Cowboys, and the Mom sketches, plus many great musical artists and groups.
Garrison Keillor was the ultimate story teller and I was always amazed at his stories about Lake Wobegone and it's citizens.

Geez, you can't even talk about a radio show that ran for over 40 years without someone making a political comment.
If more listeners would support public radio, no tax money would be needed.

My son and I used to listen to PHC on the way out to the farm when his age was in the single digits. He's now 40 and I was remembering that fondly the other day.
