Do any places RENT implements?

Ideally since I'm only going to use it once this year, what I'd really like to do is RENT a 3-point hitch implement to aerate my 2 acre lot. Are there any common places that you guys know of that will rent out farm implements?

I guess I'm not 100% against buying one, but most of them I see for sale online are 1) very expensive and 2) have terrible reviews. Renting would be a safer and cheaper option.

My local Sunbelt rents some 3pt equipment. There are a few other more local rental companies that rent them also.

Here the Bobcat dealers do, and most of the tractor dealers do.

I called around to every place I could find on Google and nobody rented any. So I just bought one from Titan Attachments. Should be here next week hopefully, just in time to prep the field before the grass comes out of dormancy for spring.

I called probably 8+ local places, most do not rent any type of ground engaging implements around here, but I did find 1, and I am picking up a 5' tiller in about 2 hours.

Just got back with it, for reference, it is a LandPride RTA1258 tiller, cost is $115/day, and picking up on Friday afternoon means all weekend for the 1 day price.

I rented an aerator locally here in Charlottesville, Va several years ago. They had even a 3ph one. Outfit is still there. Think they had seed spreaders. Not sure what else.

Your local tractor outfit might rent some.

I am also considering the 3pt areator from Titan, and considering the towed 36" Ryan Lawnaire areator which I prefer more than the 3pt Titan areator. However, finding one of the Ryan towed areators seems to be the challenge. Nobody stocks inventory for Ryan Lawnaire areator equipment, and placing orders for the equipment seems to be low priority for dealers.

So, If you can provide feedback after using your Titan 3pt areator, that would be incredibly useful.

I just replaced my water line to the house. Was going to rent a trencher. Rental time and having to go get it and return (a 50 mile jaunt) was ok but what got me was in looking at the ones ready for renting, and thinking about my black clay that I was going to dig, and reading the renter's caution that if the units are returned "dirty" there will be a $250 service charge.....Dirty being an arbitrary word....your idea of being clean and theirs. I declined and bought a small back hoe which I had been wanting for a long time anyway.

My local Kubota dealer rents most 3pt attachments.
