if you've thought of purchasing a grapple.. do it! it's probably one of the most useful tools i've used in the farm restoration. my only regret was waiting to puchase it. we just finished rebuilding 2,000 ft. of stone wall - sure beats using chains to secure large rocks to the FEL.
the grapple was built by Loflin Manfucturing. i looked at Anbo and a few others, but decided on this unit due to the price, the welds, and the weight.
i probably have ~50+ hours on this grapple.. no problems. it's plumbed through the rear remotes (will have to look into the kit that allows me to plumb it directly into the FEL joystick to open/close the grapple).
