I just test drove a DK4510SE and was very surprised that the back part of the seat is not adjustable. For those that have this machine, do you mind not having this feature? Since its stuck in one stationary position, I wish it was more upright. It is leaning back to much for my comfort. I like to sit upright with no lean back. Such a bummer that it take this machine out of the running for me. I was trying to decide between this and the NX4510SE. The 2 things that i liked about the DK was the tighter turning radius and the aux port for listening to music. But I could never be comfortable unfortunately in the non adjustable seat, which really surprises me is unavailable.

And one more question. I was test driving the DK4510SE without the button in the cab for linked peddle, but for some reason it did have it. When driving in Mid range, RPMs at 2k, the tractor would auto throttle up the harder you depressed the peddle, which I thought was linked peddle. How could the tractor behave like this and not have the feature?

On the linked pedal if you set the rpm to a particular setting it will work fine but when the demand to go fast is demanded the rpm will adjust accordingly and increase.
I set rpm to 1800 and if I want to scoot quicker it will jump up until i slow down and then the rpm will settle to its previous settings.
As for the seat, have you asked the dealer about it?
I think the SE models are a step up from the base and will have a few features. Kindah like a midrange upgrade.
So, linked pedal sounds normal.
Operator station seat dealer needs to address.

I'm torn between the DK6010Se and the NX6010SE. There is a 7k difference in price. Trying to see if I can get comfortable with the cheaper machine and not have regrets. I don't need the steer assist or stall guard on the NX, but do like the better seat and the overall higher refinement. The one perk for me is the DX is a bit smaller so a bit more nimble, and it has the aux port for music.

I've got an NX5510 (same as the NX6010) and it's quite nimble, though nowhere like my B7800 (which is a lot smaller). VERY stable machine.

I have a DK5310SEHC. THe linked pedal is great. It is a mechanical link not a electronic controlled version, should be less to go wrong. I usually set the throttle around 1800 at all times, it better than keeping it at idle as far as the DPF filter snd just in general diesel’s are better with a higher RPM for longevity.

the link functions with the more you press the pedal down the RMP’s will go up, which is exactly what you want as it’s putting more load on the engine, so you want it putting out more power as the RPM goes up. I leave it on at all times, if you want to turn it off, just flick the lever down. Yes, functions in reverse too.

the Cruise control is also a mechanical system not an electrical version. It’s simply an electomagnet that holds the peddle in the place that you turn it on. Once locked you can not temporarily speed up up like you can in a car. It totally locked it in place. It turns on and off by a switch. Hitting the brake also turns it off.

As a 2010 DK35SE owner (considering a DK4510):
Is the 2020 DK4510 built on the same frame as my current model? Tractordata shows the same loader?/engine? on DK4510 and NX4510 so the added NX weight comes from a larger frame only I guess. What else changes in an NX?

My understanding is that the NX has more bells and whistles. Not sure what else is different.

The NX will stall plenty if you peg out its hydraulics. Not really an issue, reset, and restart.

I've only ever stalled mine once, and that was when a big chunk of cedar root got sucked into my flail- locked it all up and killed the engine: had no time to react to turning off the PTO. I've had the engine grunt many times (heavy box blade work and a lot of loader work [running into a pile]). My B7800, on the other hand...
