Hi Folks,
Have had my DK45 since 2006, just under 500 hours on the clock. Some repairs are needed and I wanted to get some input:
1. The seat needs to be replaced, it has a large tear in the center, the suspension arms have been welded twice and now the front-aft locking mechanism doesn't work and it slides back and forth. How much is a KIOTI replacement seat (ballpark) or can I get a better and/or cheaper seat as aftermarket part? Did I mention I am fairly good sized fellow (6'7", 350+ lbs. ?)

2. The tach stopped working about 1 year ago, the hour meter still works. Where should I start looking to fix it?

3. Lastly I damaged both fenders about 2 years, was boxblading up a steep hill and rolled backwards. The blade "curled" up and smashed into the fenders, on one side the gray light surround is broken as well. Any idea how much both fenders might cost? This would be a cosmetic repair.

Thanks for your input - happy tractoring!

I'll be watching this thread. I've welded my suspension arms once, and had to weld the tab that controls forward and back movement, The seat has one heat crack, but
i haven't tried to buy a new seat yet.

I'd be interested in the seat you find. My dk45 has about 400 hrs and just a small crack in the seat, which I have repaired. My biggest beef is that water doesn't drain off the seat, & I'd like to replace it w/ one that does.

Check out the Michigan seats at Northern Tool (Michigan Seat Highback Suspension Seat, Model# V-5300). I want to order one for my Ferris, which has a blown open seat (it's old and my "little guy" is 6'8" and 300 plus). I'm not sure what bolting it up would entail.

BG, my seat has about had it too. I poked a few holes in it wearing a tool apron bristling with sharp stuff, a 6" screw in the back pocket doesn't help either. I used Gorilla tape for the last few years and it works well for a year or so before you need a new strip. But, now the corners are starting to split, so I guess I will need a new one soon too.

As far as the lights I had the same thing happen while grubbing.

I replaced both entire tail light assembly's, and they come with bulbs and lens's and they were $140 for both.

I bet your tach is a bad connection or broken wire, so I'd check the harness first.

Thanks for the input, I will check for seat pricing with my Kioti dealer and with Northern Tool as well.
And MotorSeven - great minds must think (and work) alike! Your pictures show EXACTLY what I did with my boxblade, though I managed to break the rear areas of both fenders as well.
Had the scarifier shanks pushed into the tire treads but thankfully no holes.
I'll keep you all posted on the seat replacement progress.

ebay has some...but i am not sure if its just the seat or the entire mechanism.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices.

ALSO, for online parts
http://www.outdoorpartspower.com/pages/OemParts?aribrand=KTT#/Kioti_Tractor/CHASSIS/SEAT_GROUP_DK45-T890A/01-07|~DK45-M-CHASSIS/0107DK450191

as for the tach. the part # should be T2185-70801

but it could be just issues with the existing tach not getting input, fuses???

i know an entire instrument cluster runs about $500, not sure what parts you can find.

Ha, we are even then on your fender repair...my top link was $250 to replace. The side link still has a bit of a bend and leaks down now....so that's gonna be another $250...{sigh}
