The hydraulic steering cylinders of my old DK45 are leaking badly. I suspect worn seals. Since I don't want to take the tractor to the far away dealer, how do I take those steering cylinders off so I can get them serviced?
I've never had mine of so I can't say for sure, but the bolt/pivots on the end of the cylinders may take some persuasion to get off (like a ball joint)
Yours could be more difficult, if I remember right your machine has been in flood conditions before. The joints may be rusted in.
