Nothing revolutionary here, just a quick post on the 50 hour service for a hyrdo DK 45.
We had a nice break from -20/-25 and it warmed up to the freezing mark for the day. I took full advantage.
The hydro filter (pump, not the HST drive) was tight but nothing crazy like others have mentioned in similar threads. Thanks to reading earlier posts I took home from my work toolbox a snap on A91E strap wrench, a 36" 1/2" drive breaker bar and a 12" impact extension. This combo made very, very quick work of that stubborn filter. I can see how it would have been challenging without these tools.

Local UFA cardlock had Chevron TDH 1000 on sale for $60/20 liter pail taxes in. Pretty good. I had some spare 5w40 CJ4 Chevron Delo and Motorcraft 75w140 synthetic gear oil saved up from work for the job and that helped to keep cost down.
Big shout out to All Terrain Services in Grande Prairie, AB. They are brand new to the Kioti game and are pretty darn small, but they had all filters in stock and opened specifically for me on a Saturday when I drove to GP. This saved me from heading 5 hours to Edmonton and having to deal with the Tractor Ranch, whom I couldn't care less for. Support these guys if you are up in northern Alberta, northern BC or the Yukon.
