The new toy showed up yesterday afternoon. The obligatory pictures are included. Thought I'd share a little more of my buying experience. I had started off dealing with the closest dealer (30 minutes) and had full intentions of purchasing from him. All the sudden, I quit hearing from him. Finally, found out the dealership had suddenly locked their doors. I was still pretty committed to Kioti so contacted the next closest dealer (45 minutes). No fault of his but just didn't like the vibe I was getting from them. In the meantime, as I was checking out dealers, I got in touch with a dealer in the DFW area who claimed to ship tractors all over the country. Didn't really feel comfortable buying a tractor long distance but the more I checked this guy out, the more it was apparent he really did have a pretty good reputation at these long distance deals. The price was considerably lower than anything around here. I have to admit, despite having done a considerable amount of due diligence, I still had a hard time sending that kind of money to someone 500 miles away - payment had to be made before they loaded it up for delivery. I had all kinds of "demons" in my head that conjured up bad scenarios of getting sc***ed over. But the tractor showed up exactly as promised. I guess something can still go wrong with the tractor but it's unlikely that this dealer would be the reason for that.View attachment 341422View attachment 341423
