Ok fans i have 13hr on my macnine & one minor complaint. The darn seat belt does not have a click stop & keeps ratcheting down on my fat belly. Every 10-15 min i have to take it off & reset it. My "old" CK30's belt never gave me any trouble. Anyone else having this prob? You may not notice it unless you are going up & down hills or doing anything that sets off the schpinkt-o-meter.

Love these things:

push button 4wd & indicator light
pto lift shut off
ease of the cruise control
monster fel
bigger tires=smother ride in my bumpy pastures
a rops that does not rattle
more leg room for my 36" inseam
and of course more POWER (Tim Allen grunt-arhharrharrrhh):D

Still waiting for my top & tilt, & pallet forks to come in. Loaded 65 4x5 hay rolls the other day with the new bale spear & had a blast! The guy that buys my hay must think i'm nuts..."No sense in wasting your fuel in that 98 hp Case, take a break...i'll load it for ya"

heheh the gripe i have with my seat belt is it hides between the seat and the lever console. I am a bit luckier then most though still have a high enough metabolisim to keep me out of much of that trouble.

LOL, I don't have any answer for you, but I know what you're talking about. My old one ton pickup does that to me. If I don't think about it and pull some slack in the belt before I bounce across an overpass on an interstate it will cinch me down in my seat so tight that I literally can't get out. I have to push up on the top of the door frame to shove my rear lower in the seat to be able to release the latch. I'm just afraid of having to pull into a rest area and have to holler for some people to come pile on me so I can get my seatbelt off.

As simple as a seatbelt mechanism is, I haven't figured out how to have mine still work properly but stop trying to cut me in half at times. I don't recall which one it was, but one Kubota I had with a suspension seat had a ratcheting seat belt that kept getting tighter on me every time I hit a bump. I hit a washout rut once and thought it was going to cut me in half! If you figure out how to take it apart and stop it from doing that but still function as needed let me know.

Howdy I have a CK20 and when doing anything pointed downhill the seat belt wouldn't catch and I was always fighting to stay off the steering wheel so I bought a static seat belt like the older cars had. Just latch and tighten to where it is comfortable and set to go. And it is bright orange. :)

I caught the spelling right away.

It's not "grunt-arhharrharrrhh"

It's spelled with an O not and A

"grunt-orhhorrhorrrhh"

Other than that it loked fin tooo me.

:)

now that you mention it you could get one of those seatbelt extender things. if it doesnt have a longenough strap you could always dig one up from some dead car that way you dont need to use the built in ratche o boa.

My "old" CK30 is still on the lot, i wonder if i can swap belts. If not, i will do what Lun said, just get a static belt.
Joel, thanks for the clairification, it's sacrilege to misquote the Tool Man.

Not sure if I ever congratulated you on the new 40, sounds like you are enjoying it.
I have the same problem with the seat belt on the 45, draws up so tight you can hardly stand it so I don't wear it.

I also have the airplane style, where I pull on the strap until tight.

Very simple to use and no as I bound over my rolling rocks "I mean hills".

You bring up a good point though, if that thing were to cinch up on you and god forbid you rolled the machine and then had to get out in a hurry, you could be in trouble.

Or in my case , my wife would not notice I was missing for at least a week, I could starve to death.
