DK35SE HST Idle Speed

All you guys out there with DK35's whats your idle speed? Mine is a 2011, new in May of 2011 with only 100 hours on it. I noticed today mine idles about 1000 RPM's. I think its a bit to fast cause my Mahindra idles about 600 RPM's. with basically the same engine just a bit smaller. What #'s do yall get? thanks . . .John

My owner's manual recommends 850 idle, but I thought it too low and jumped it to 1,000. The engine sounds better "up" there too;no where near as much thumpin' and rattlin', but I don't have a DK

900 to 1000 rpms is normal. Idle is set at the factory, and is part of the Interim Tier IV Feature of the engine. The idle adjustment is wired in place to prevent (reduce) tampering.
