DK35 drivers? Any out there?

Looking for any DK35 users out there. Have questions and can't find answers.

Is your 35 tach driven by cable or magnetic pickup? Ever have issues with the tach?

My 35 serial number says its an 2003, bought in 2005, wired like a 2007 35SE. What the heck?

My 2003 35 workshop manual does not even show the tach in the electrical diagram. Ahhhhh!!

My 2001 DK 35 has a cable driven tach.
I did replace a broken tach cable a decade of so ago.

Yep. That's what I thought until I dug into it. Ha...no cable! I think I have a kioti experiment!

Picked up a new to me 2008 dk35 a few months ago, ran fine until one day would not start. Is your wiring diagram absolutely useless as well? Mine has no wire colors identified
