just did my 200 hr maintenance, and replaced the hydraulic filter. seems odd that you remove the filter and have a bunch on hydo fluid running out. when I went to replace the fluid, it showed on the dip stick that it was still full. I'm wondering if I had an extra 2 gallons of fluid or am reading the dipstick incorrectly.
Check it again since it has sat for a while.
If it still shows full you may want to start the tractor, let it idle for a minute. Shut it down and check it again.
thanks for the advice, now I just need to get the parts to make the gauge setup, should be able to find them locally.
would having too much hydro fluid in the system make for lower presure,e.i. weak FEL ?
