I used my tractor for the first time with a disk, I do not like the draft control I wish my tractor did not have it. You can not raise the disk all the way up with the postion control lever cause of the draft control. I was running over terraces and they where high enough that the disc would not clear them all the way by lifting the posyion control lever all the way up. I put the postion control lever all the way down and used the draft contol lever to raise and lower the disc. The draft control lever will allow the disc to raise another 3 inches higher than using the postion control lever.
Other than the dislike of the draft control the tractor worked great no problems pulling my disc. I have a King Kutter disc not a heavy disk, I am going to add some bracing and then some extra weight. I have 2 brake drums off of a 18 wheeler I am going to add on for weight. I ran in 5th gear about 2000 rpm and had no problem moving right along. I have industrial tires and four wheel drive are a good combination no tire slippage felt.
