diy attachment to pull pipe or at least dig a trench?

I'm trying to bury some polypipe for around a 150ft length.
Wondering if there is a way that I can make an attachment on the back of tractor to at least dig a few inches below?

If your soil isn't too rocky you can pull plastic pipe, 150' should be no problem.

There's a fair amount of gravel and that type of thing in the soil (mostly clay/sand).
Just not sure if there are any attachment points on the back of the tractor that would be strong enough?

So, use something like a tiller and then push the pipe in after to lay it along the length?

See if there is an lawn sprinkler contractor near you , If they have a vibratory plow , 150 feet would take less than an hour . I would charge around $ 200 to do a small pull like that

That one fits one a tiller/ripper so it's $100 for the adapter + $200 for the tiller/ripper.
Was just hoping to keep it cheap somehow.
Where would I mount a ripper on the back of the WHite Outdoors? Don;t think there are attachment points, just a plain metal back.

I am having the same project starting about Tuesday of next week. Going to bury PVC pipe for irrigating flower beds in our front yard. I intend to use my subsoiler to dig a trench. Then turn it around and mount it on the tractor with the point angled the wrong way. Kinda like trying to push it thru the ground in reverse. I have a piece of angle iron I intend to mount to the subsoiler that will keep the pipe from slipping off to the side. Wife driving very slow and me feeding the pipe. Hopefully it will work. All I have to do is get the pipe half a foot or so below ground level as there will be cutoffs to drain the water at low points and I will use a compressor to blow it out in the fall.

Wish me luck and keep this thread up so we will know how each other's projects come out.

I did that exact thing and broke my toplink. My subsoiler didn't have enough range of motion on the toplink attachment for it to be turned around. When I lifted it, the toplink snapped.

You don't have enough traction with that to dig a trench. You can rent a trencher at Home Depot from about $100, I think that's your best bet.
