I'm rebuilding the drives ,replacing bearings and sprockets and chain, on the 30" ZTR and the adjustments are different from the standard transaxle drve information that I have. My lawns going out of control and I need figure out the adjustments procedures to get the cones positioned properly. The information I've got says to bring cones in to just touching. If I do that then there is no lever travel and that need some travel I think. Help. Thanks in advance. bjr

Normally the driven cones just clear the drive cones, Your lever travel comes from the tension rods in the front.

Been quite a while since I set one up, but when we were using the mechanical drive model commercially I was rebuilding about one a week.
