ditching bucket for GC2610

I am looking for a ditching bucket for my MF GC2610 backhoe.
Dealer says he can't have anything else than the one with the 3 teeth.
Anyone built or bought something that fits over the existing...or completely separate bucket ? :confused3:
Might ask a local welding shop to build something up.

What's your cost on a piece like this ?
I need something bigger..12"-18" wide.
Ditch clean up job to do in my forest.

I miss read your post initially.

Yes, I made a scraper that fits over the teeth out of 1/2" thick steel. One is 4"x12". And, one is 4"x36".

They are simply bolted on, with the scraper in front of the teeth, and bolts that go between the teeth, to a piece of angle across the back.

The smaller one is somewhat useful. These machines are not heavy enough be able to resist moving, due to the force feedback of the larger one. So. you can actually go faster with the smaller one.

But, people have said they used a 24" ditch bucket on these. It would require soft digging.

I don't remember what I had in my 6" bucket. I made it heavier than it needed to be. So, it was no bargain.

If you can find someone to make a 12"-18" with a scraper tooth from scratch, my guess is, it will probably cost you $400.

Finding a used one, and modifying it can be cheaper.
