The itty bitty print on the coolant container says "mix with distilled water". Now I bought a water distiller some years back for my family that is capable of making 12 gallons of distilled water per day. An advantage of having distilled water on hand for all drinking, ice making and cooking is less risk of brain damage from stuff in the pipes between me and the city water treatment facility. Also I don't have to make a special trip to get distilled water for battery maintenance and coolant mixing.

If you use a Jasmine Washlet or alternate (soap and water or baby wipes) in your home then I would except your extended hand for a friendly hand shake.

As someone who has restored alot of old cars - I can say that the use of tap water in the coolant system leads to problems.
What brand is the water disttiller you have and about how much are they?

I have been using distilled water in my all my auto's cooling system and battery for the past 25 years. The auto manufacturers recommend it as well. I never experience cooling system problems such as scale and lime build up.
I buy it here locally for .30/gal. We also use distilled water for cooking and drinking as mentioned in the post.

Jasmine........ A Butt Scrubber?

So, how do you dry without touching one self?

Oh, I get it, a blower completes the job?

Mick Dundee would love that handy tool.

The brand of water distiller is Hague near Columbus Ohio.
They do not make them anymore.
I paid arount $800.00 for the unit.
Take a look at this unit for starting a search.Automatic Water Distiller
Now you might say that this is costly however
what is health comfort worth?

I've got a Hague water processing unit installed in my house. It is a softener and contaminant removal system - two tanks, installed after my sediment filter off the well. I love it - doesn't use salt, uses potassium. For the kitchen (cooking, drinking water) we also have a reverse osmosis system after the treatment system. I use that water for my radiators in my vehicles.

It did cost more than $800, but it does remove all the iron from the water and I need that - have a medical condition and I have to avoid excessive iron intake. (A bummer because I love red meat - but must not eat it often /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif).
