display of thread start date

If I select "today's posts" it displays the date the thread after who started it.started under the thread title.

If I go into a forum it does not list the date the threads started, only the OP.

Is there a switch I can use to always display the date started?

I am curious about this as well, my mobile app doesn't tell me anywhere when the thread was started... only the last post time/date.
