Disconnect and connect hydrolytic lines

I have a Yanmar 2500 tractor with a Koyker 140 lift with a bucket. It is not set up with quick disconnect lines. I can lift and lower the bucket but as of today it won't tilt. I might need to replace my curl valve and want to know if there will be pressure on the lines if I lower the bucket. I was also thinking to put on quick disconnects on the lines.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

G'day John if you lower he loader to the ground, turn the engine off ond then operate the levers it should remove the pressure from the lines and yes it would be the perfect time to fit Q/Ds.

G'day John, adding to Banjo's (quite correct) advice... once you do replace your connections with Q/Ds, "lower the loader to the ground, turn the engine off and then operate the levers (joystick)" in all directions will become the SOP for removing or attaching implements to the FEL.

If, in the future, you add a 3rd function to the FEL, then you'll need to include that too IOT disconnect/connect.

Failure to do so will result in a LOT of cursing and frustration until the pressure is relieved. (trust me on this :laughing
