Dimensions of a 24-OZ BEER CAN

Hopefully one of you have one laying around?? I need to know the diameter and lenght of a 24oz beer can and I dont have any handy. I am making a can-crusher and want it to be capable of crushing the big ones.

I can not assure accuracy...your best to go
buy a 6er' and go to work on it. :licking:

I saw that too but its hard to read. I "think" is says 6.27", which just seemed too short. a 12oz is ~4.75". So just to be safe, I went with 9.5" clearence. I know the 24's arent double the length because they are bigger around, but this way, I play it safe. I will have to post some pics when done. Going to use all aluminum too for the frame:thumbsup:
