I already had 2 holes drilled in my bucket for a shackle mount that is inside of the bucket. I have been welding those Kens bolt on hook, weld on style hooks, to my implements and my pallet fork frame. I could not come up with a good way to weld or bolt the conventional chain hook in the center since I had two bolts in the way.

I could fab up a bracket that offset the hook to the side and utilize the existing holes that were in the bucket. Did not like how that would put a twisting load on the bolts and possibly rotate the mount slightly when a load is put on it. Could not get myself to weld the hooks slightly off center.

Ended up with the idea in the pictures below. This allowed me to utilize the holes I already drilled in the bucket. The shackle mount makes a good flat load distributing surface for the bottom.

I know most put 2 hooks inline with the loader arms. I feel that the DK bucket is build heavy enough to take the loaders lift capacity in the center.

Anyhow here is the metal that I cut out. The chain "hook" is 1/2" metal and the u-bracket with the 2 holes is 1/4"

Here I tested the new hook on a tree I cut down a few days ago. I knew there was no way the tractor was pulling this stump out. I applied all the force that the loader could lift and nothing bent or visually flexed on the bucket or my new hook.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. The channel would help keep the chain from swinging about while traveling and such. Should serve you very well...

good job, Beats the way I've always done it by cutting a slot on the side wall on each side of the bucket

Thanks guys for all the comments and likes

I painted the hook thing last night with leftover Nissan Dark gray forklift paint that I used on my grill guard.
The Kioti seems to have 50 shades of gray on it so not sure which part it really matches, if any.

Here you can see the shackle mount underneath that acts as the nut too.

I know, another color. I did not have enough leftover Nissan paint to repaint the shackle mount on the bottom. As you can see, paint has a hard time surviving down here anyhow. I have a bar welded on the front of the shackle mount to add even more area to distribute the load.

I reused the thick grade 8 washers but installed 2 new 1/2-13x1-3/4" Indiana made bolts.

Here is a Ken's hook that I welded to a pallet fork frame. I am getting tired of wrapping a chain around this beam so think the hook will come in handy. The pallet frame is formed 3/8" steel designed for a skid steer so I feel it will handle the load.

For some more ideas.
Here are some more hooked implements.

My homemade subsoiler. Had to put a hook on it too.
