Diesel in oil

Bought an used ASV RC 100. First needed ether and a jump to start. Noticed the fuel was junk. Emptied tank, put in cleaner, started right up. Ran good then started running rough. Now has fuel in oil. Any suggestions? Also when you turn key to on position air bubbles into fuel tank. Is that normal? Thanks

I had fuel in the oil on my diesel truck and the injector guy said it can come from with the injector pump or the injectors. In my case the pump leaked into the crankcase. I had him change the injectors also as he had the motor apart, now it runs like a new machine.

That's the trouble buying used. The seller knew it and now you are stuck with the problem$$$$.

The front seals go out in that pump all the time..
Check the return connection on the inj. pump.. its a "checkball" type & will rust, allowing the pressure to rise in the pump, helping the front seals to blow-out..
The pump needs to be timed BEFORE you pull it off.. Get some instructions BEFORE attempting.. its not fun..
& worse, if you don't follow the instructions..
A GOOD manual is much cheaper than taking it somewhere.. cuz your looking at about 800.00 for a pump o/h & around 500.00 or more to r&r the pump..good luck..

Yes.. the diaphragm on the injection pump is blown, pressurizing the return fuel back to the fuel tank..
The diaphragm is replaceable w/o pulling the pump BUT you HAVE TO HAVE the tamperproof bit to get the cover off..
& inorder to get the correct diaphr. you have to have the PUMP #.. theres a name plate on the pump.. Good luck.

Hi. Hope you fixed the oil in fuel problem. I'm asking for your help on my asv rc100. I recently bought it but had the coolant temp and oil pressure broken. Also the injection pump wire unplugged. I ordered the coolant temp sender and has two males hooks. And don't know what goes there. Please send me a pics. Thanks very much
