Diesel engines in CUT's?

Is there a consensus on who makes the most reliable engines for CUT's or does brand loyalty come into play? For example, I've read in a couple of forums where Mitsubushi knows diesels, but there are more reliable diesels out there.

I have never heard it makes any difference. Change the oil and filter, feed them clean fuel and let them warm up.

Well this will start the JD, Kubota, NH, Case, Ford, Dodge, Chevy, arguements here. I would tend to agree with Doc Bob, at least from any fairly well known company, and in either case I am sure there is somebody somewhere that has had a bad diesel motor in a CUT.
