did we get a good deal?

We Bought Our M4950DT from a dealer Used about a year ago, it came with new tires, and Its gave us no trouble at all. We don't know the year of it is? but it had about 2700 hours on it when we got it. Did we get a good deal. i was wondering? we paid $12,000 Canadian

also in the picture it didn't come with the winch or skid plate we put those on, but it did come with the loader ( had a bucket , we made the forks with quick detached) Thank you for your input.

Looks like a very nice tractor. And 2,700 hours is not much on a diesel tractor.

If the tractor has done everything you wanted it to do and (as you said) had no problems then it sounds like a good deal to me.

sound like you got a pretty fair deal, and as you say you have had it about a year with no problems, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

My 2 cents worth is - I think $12k Canadian (maybe $9.5k US?) is about half it's actual value as a premium used tractor. You got a very good deal. These older Kubotas have silky smooth 6-cylinder engines and were among the best tractors made anywhere in the world. They were not yet well-known here in the US so their 2nd-hand prices tended to drop as the paint faded, but mechanically they are unmatched for fit, precision and quality. I would venture a guess that the majority of the M's sold in the early '80s are still going strong and their original owners are not interested in selling them. Congratulations on buying the best - it should last a very long time.
