diamond plate flooring for an RTV --

I sorta loke the idea, but in other ways, am conerned water can get under it and rust out the floor -- maybe a rubber mat is a better way to go (and cheaper) --

-- thoughts?

I just saw those in a website on Sunday, they look great! We just took delivery on out RTV last Wednesday and I was looking for ways to "pimp" it. I felt they were too pricey for our use (farm use), so I will stick to the rubber mats and I agree with you, it looks like moisture could get under the diamond plates and cause problems down the road. I like the rumble seats that are available for the RTV's.

Do you have the enclosed Curtis cab/ hard doors on yours? Do you find it quite loud inside of it?

i just called them and the woman (amber) said they have a rhino, and they put the aluminum down, and water does get under there --

-- and worse yet, to me, there are self-tapping screws on the install --

i don't have a cab -- my problem with cabs is a few years down the road, they seem to deteriorate quite a bit --

Have you thought about getting the rhino liner sprayed on the floor? Thats what some people are doing. I may get it done to mine too.

gonna be pimpin my hpx with some . i came across a old aluminum truck tool box and it fits the demintions i need for the cutouts so now i'm gonna cut out me sone floor plates andglue the 1/4" rubber to the bottom . that stuff looks great when it's polished up good.

If you think about it, Diamond plate is the worste material you could use for an area you will be stepping on. It is slippery when muddy and wet. Rhino lining is the only whay to go unless you are a rapper and looking for bling bling!

Hi friend,
I purchased the floorboards, they are awesome. I removed the rubber mating and had linex sprayed on the floor and foot pedals. When I put the new floorboards down I used velcro to hold it in place. Works great, not rattling or shifting. When it gets dirty ,pull it up and hose it out. Water does not stand. Personal preference is linex over rhino, both good products.
