Does anybody know anything about them? The videos look pretty good.

I have been wondering the same thing. Wonder how it compares with the AFE Eco-mulcher...

I have one on the front of my Deere 333e. I love it, it is very fast compared to the drum type mulcher I have used in the past. There is a good 30 hour learning curve for a new user. There is a little more chance for throwing debris but at least you can tell that you did it and where it went. The front of my machine stays so much cleaner than when I ran a drum and was covered by slippery vegetation. A down side is that it sticks out there a little further and it weighs quite a bit.

Cory, thanks for chiming in! Would you happen to have any videos of you shredding with that bad boy?

Cory, how has your tooth wear been? How big of a tree have you been able to mulch (diameter)... Any issues? Factory support been good?

Thanks in advance for your help as this mulcher is very interesting to me.

Sorry for the late reply. I have been unbelievably busy. I have some video but not good ones. My brother in law is going to film me with his drone again that should be great. Both the factory and local rep have been great for help. As far as the largest tree I have ground up was quite large < 24". As far as cut and mulch I would guess to be 8". I get better everyday with keeping the disc from getting overloaded. When you stall the disc out with a large or multiple trees it can be a pain to remove. I have found that the easy way to remove a stall is to tilt the head down and real the disc backwards using a growing stump. Biggest thing with the head is to stay calm and steady. It is really fast but you can take tonight of a bight and then the going gets slow.

Here is a video of my machine working. I will work on getting some big trees on video soon.

I am using the JD version Fecon head. I demoed the Diamond twice and it worked on small brush but nothing bigger than 3-5 inches. I stayed with the Fecon, but interested in the AFE Eco mulcher. Looks to me like the Diamond is a poor copy of the Eco mulcher.

I never used the ECO Mulcher but can tell you that there is definitely a learning curve to running the diamond mulching head. I regularly mulch trees that are very large. The large trees have to be mulched in much the same way with both mulcher's, by going over the tree and then using a back grading technique. I have run several drum type mulchers and they usually work quite well. I feel that for thick underbrush I can work faster and more accurate with the diamond mulching head. I'm glad that there are choices as not every head is right for everyone. I encourage anyone to test drive as many as possible before making that expensive decision. Just my $.02
