Tractor
Mahindra 4505-DI
I have bought a used Mahindra 4505-DI with a KD loader. Its my first tractor with a loader and I do not know how to remove it (safely). I've got an operators manual but no loaders instructions. I notice what looks like a place where it may mount to a stand. Its a 2"x2" piece of tubular iron on the crossbar. Do I need a stand or can I just detach and back out. As I said, I'm new at this, so any help will be welcome.
Thanks,

Look inside of the tubing at the cross piece. Mine was mounted inside and keep in place with a clevis pin. It is a 2" piece of pipe with a flat flange welded on to the bottom.

Thanks JamesB,
I'll look for it this weekend. At that point, do I just mount it in the proper place? Any tricks, etc. to be aware of? I assume the bar holds up the arms and the bucket sits flat on the ground. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That's all the extra piece is for is to help stabilize the arms when detached from the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
