deluxe vs. standard seat heights

A little problem.. so my wife who is 5'4" and weighs 103 can barely reach the drive petal on our new ct225. We have the deluxe seat and I have adjusted the weight all the way down and lowered it as far as it will go. I'm 5'7" and this setting is just right for me. Anyone know if the standard seat is closer to the floor deck? need another 2-3 inches?

I have the standard seat on my CT235 (same as the 225 'cept the engine mostly). My wife is also 5'3". She can reach the pedal fine from the standard seat but she can't sit all the way back in the seat. She has to sit up just a little bit. If you want to trade seats let me know

I thought I was getting a deluxe on mine...

I got the standard seat as I sat on both and couldn't tell a $200 difference. Don't know if the adjustment range is different, I thought maybe that the standard looked a little lower. There is a height adjustment on the standard seat as well.

Fixed It! took about 25 minutes. I took off the seat and the mounting plate, reversed the mounting plate (plenty of clearance underneath) and re-attached the seat. lowered the seat about 2 inches. It also made a big difference when entering the machine, more clearance between the seat and steering wheel. heres a before and after.

The standard seat is actually really comfortable. I have been in it for 2 hours at a time and felt just fine. Isn't the height adjustment on the front only and just for rake?

oops! typo it only took me about 15 minutes to flip the seat bracket, and I was goofing around. (also killed that annoying weight sensor)

I believe you are correct. Either way it brings you lower legs up or down.
