Delivery Experiences?

Ive seen a few posts about some fairly long delivery times.

My dealer told me he checked "the sheet" and mine is "frozen" for 4/6. He said that means it will be done then, and that he would have it for me a week after that.

Anybody know what this means? Anybody been promised a delivery, only to have it pushed out?

Not that Im impatient or anything... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Depending on the implements it could get pushed out. My order of a 4310 last november came in piecemeal. The tractor itself came in rather quickly but some of the e-controls cames in later and stuff like the Backhoe, Snowblower etc were coming from different factories/shipping points. Once all the stuff had arrived my dealer was able to finish the prep work in about 2 or 3 days. This included welding on hooks (3 on FEL 1 on BH), wiring 2 rear flood lights, touch up paint, e-control install, snowblower brackets, backhoe mount, wash and wax. Man was it worth the wait!!! Let's see some picture when you get it!

my 4310 was in to the dealer 2 weeks after order/implements were in stock at the dealer was told 4-6 weeks but came in sooner /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good answers!!

Dealer also told me that he already had the FEL, and the day I called, he said the mower deck was on the truck already (that was last week) so all he needs is the tractor!

Maybe I'll call him today - I suppose he's used to over-eager tractor nuts calling every few days anyway /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
