OK. The manual says the plug to use is the NGK BPR4ES. I had the
dealer followup on the maintenance plan and they installed NGK BPR2ES
plugs for the winter. I know this is a hotter plug. Any comments?
I'm going to switch back to the correct one in the spring, but wonder
if there are any service notifications out there.

All right Dan, First off love your bikes!

I have no knowledge of that kawi engine but in years past they have had problems often having to run a hotter plug in one side vs the other to at least get 100 hour changes.

I'd go with what the dealer suggested. To switch back during the hotter summer months might not hurt.

I'd ask them why, I'd lay odds on it to help in cold weather performance.
