Price Check Deere promotions : lawn tractors?

Hi thinking about trading in my x720 for a x750. There is a $700 promotion that expires on Monday

Is there likely to be a similar promotion in March? My dealer said that he thought this will be the best promotion for the next few months. Does John Deere have a normal promotion pattern throughout the year? Thank you

Good question. I'm considering trading up from an X530 to an X758 and was wondering the same thing.

When I upgraded in 2010 these mowers were costly and I looked around for deals and promotions. Never found much other than ordering a new unit from factory with dealer. Dealer discounted my x749 about 16% and I haven't seen much better pricing since then. It has been a good mower for me and has held up well. The optional 3 pt. hitch, 540 pto, 647 tiller and MC 519 material collection cart have worked well too.

The four wheel steering and 4x4 is a huge improvement in handling. Something to consider when upgrading.

Wow. 16%. That'd be $2400.00 off a $15,000 X758. I'd buy one today for that deal. I doubt that's gonna happen anytime soon though. I'd be thrilled with half that.

Just an FYI.

As of today March 2, the current incentive on X700 series tractors is 0% financing for 60 months. This promotion runs through May 2.

Just speculation but in todays world of covid 19 short supply on about every farm tractor/UTV,s and such I would say NO.Snooze you loose..Just purchased as new Kubota RTV1100 last week dealer just had 6 units arrive he ordered last August.I got lucky..

The 0% financing on the X700 is almost never not available, ie it is almost always available. The $700 off is usually in the before Spring and usually in October too. They typically have a BF special on some models that was $1000 in past years, but they also typically raise prices right before it, so somewhat less of a good deal.

Some dealers used to deal and it was possible to get a discount from list price plus the Deere discount. With the move to mega dealers, it seems good deals are less likely. There is very little, if any, competition in the super garden tractor market. All the competition moved to the SCUT market. If you want diesel and a rear PTO and 3PH, get a SCUT. It will be more capable for a similar price. If you really need AWD (as opposed to 4WD) and/or AWS, then consider the Deere.
