Mixed feelings here. The tractor is only as good as the dealer. Yeah, you might get it cheaper if there are a hundred dealers within 10 miles of you, but they would have to cut the price too much to sustain parts and service levels needed to maintain that tractor over the long haul. Then again, I guess all our current society cares about is cheap.
To ensure quality of the whole process, any brand should be able to do what they think is best. If they just want to make a quick buck, then set up roadside stands at every corner. There is enough Chinese junk out there now if you want it that way.
