Mid-Mount Mower Deere 755 Pre '90- Post '90 MMM swap

Posted in JD Owning and maybe better off here for reply. Quite some time since posting here, but good CUT info so give it a go.
Does anyone know if M02732 and M02734 deck shells are similar enough to swap spindles, gearbox and mount hardware?
Basically switch all parts from the older M02732 deck to the newer type M02734?
