Deere 47 in scraper blade options---any 1st hand experience with M142881?

Deere offers two scraper blades for their 47 inch blower, the M135649 (supersedes M122371) and a “heavy duty, Flat scraper blade (optional)M142881. The optional blade is about twice the price of the basic. Dealer had no idea what the difference in construction/materials is.

Besides being flat, anyone know the difference? Experience with it, good or bad….. Worth 2x the price?

Any aftermarket recommendations? Gone thru a few of the M135649/122371 in the past 20 years and they do seem to wear quickly.
