Deere 4320 SCV control not re-centering

Hello: I posted this earlier in another, probably incorrect forum, and I'm stuck:

I put the fel on my 5 year old 4320 this spring, and the SCV control stick does not try to re-center from left (roll bucket up) position.

The other 3 positions work fine and re-center, and the bucket roll-up does work, but the controller just flops in that direction - the spring loading for it to return to center doesn't work.

Is there a spring on this that may be broken, or some other possibility? All other movements are free and spring loaded as normal.

Also, it looks like the center fiber panel (around the seat area) has to come off to get to the linkage and valve but there is an adjustor knob in the way - has anyone removed this panel?

There is a centering spring in the can on the bottom of the valve.

It could be broken, rusty, debris keeping the spring from working correctly.

Nut holding spring apparatus might be loose of off.

For a Deere 4320 can anyone direct me know how to access the SCV and linkage? Remove the surround seat panel? Thanks,
