Deere 4200 HSt

I have a 2000 4200 and as of late the tractor will just die while using it then it will start right up. It happened to me 6 times today while mowing a large field. Could it be the seat safety switch even though I dont come off the seat? or is it maybe the htermistor I have read about.

If thermistor is bad, tractor will not start. Seat safety switch is a possibility. Perhaps it's disengaging as you bounce across the field? It isn't difficult to access, unplug and jumper that switch.

OK thanks I was leaning the way of the seat switch but read about the thermistor and thought I would ask.

Un-connect the connector near the seat switch and slide in a shunt (short wire in U-shape) to let the electronics think the switch is closed.
