I could cut the flighting out on a plasma table and bend it with a fixture and weld it on a cleaned-up tube. A bit labor intensive, but considering what a heavy-duty blower costs these days, likely still cost-effective.
Gearbox-wise, are you sure it is shelled, or will John Deere 00 cornhead grease work? Also take photos, because I think the gearboxes are kinda universal in nature. It's a 90° gearbox with a 540 PTO input and really the only thing that matters is where the mounting bolts are oriented. China makes these things.
