Deere 185 or husqvarna 24 hp tractor

Well I have a decision to make a 1 yr old husqvarna 24hp 52 in or a 20 year old John deere 185 with a 46 in deck and 42 in plow.My question is which one.It will be for my wife.Both have the hydro trans and both are the same price 900$.

If the 185 is in good shape jump all over it. The 17 hp Kawasaki is a great motor, and the 185 was built much stouter than any similar size lawn tractor today. I started a mowing business for my sons in 1990, and the 185 was our first mower... used it commercially for 7 years before going to zero turn mowers. Still ran it occasionally for another 8 years.
