Decking

I have a YTH20K46 the decking has gone bad, a friend has given me the same make, but with a 52" deck. Can I place the 52" deck on my 46" mower, or should I replace my engine which is a 20Hp and put it on his old on which had a 27hp?

I would just swap decks, I doubt you can tell little difference in the extra 6" of deck.

To TBN Rinov. You will have to use the belt for the 52" deck. That will also be the hardest part of the swap.
