Ok,.....It looks like I've hit rock bottom on my dealer on the L3130. He won't budge anymore. This is what I have so far, so tell me what you think: (FYI.......I have decided to go with the 4WD with R4s and FST tranny)

L3130-- $11,936
Woods RD72--$1600

These are cash prices. If I decide on the 0% for 36 months, I would lose the $750 rebate, so that would increase the price by that much.

Do these sound good?

The dealer is telling me that he is making 9% profit on the tractor and 12% on the Woods RD72. I have no idea if he is telling the truth, but do these figures sound realistic?

I'm not sure what difference the 0 % financing makes to the dealer. Perhaps one of the dealers will chime in on this. When I got what I thought was the final price on my B3030, I procrastinated and held off buying for a while, I was lucky I did. Kubota came out with a $500 rebate and the dealer gave me the same price minus the rebate, I used the 0 % financing. Again, maybe one of the dealers can tell us why your dealer is making the stipulation about the cash price versus the financing.

Not a dealer but have been puttering around looking at financing options, etc. Realistically will not be buying another tractor until bx is paid off and have a bigger place. Looking for the bigger place, then maybe the tractor to go with it in a year or so. However, in researching this stuff, Kubota is offering a $1500 rebate for cash sales and $750 on 36 months same as cash, hence the difference.

Yeah, .......the Grand Ls have a $1500 Kubota rebate for cash sales and a $750 rebate if you take the 0% for 36 months. So, its really not a dealer issue, but a different rebate from Kubota.

So, has anyone gotten better price quotes on these tractors?

My dealer said non Kubota implements could not be financed with 0%, others on the list have had everything included.

If you borrow the cost of the tractor elsewhere, $11936 at 7% over three years is about $370 a month including $1326 for interest over the life of the loan.

Pay $750 more and do $12686 at 0% over three years or $352 a month for the same three years. If your loan rate goes higher than 7% then the 0% saves more. Find less than 7%, maybe hard to do, and flip a coin.

$1300 in interest, how much was that L3430?

Good luck, the price would probably end my search.

About a month ago, I bought a brand new Kubota L3130, HST, 4x4 for $13,860 "sticker", and a final price of $14,060 after tax, out the door. This was a 0% finance price for 36 months. I was told by my salesman that it didn't make any difference on the way I payed.???

It seems like I got ripped off. Or is a different tranny that much cheaper? Makes me want to call him up and ask what's up? Someone chime in.

PD - Calm down. Only one person can get THE BEST price on any particular tractor. Of course in this case, that person may be YOU! :eek:

LSUalum says his price would be $12,686 with the 0% financing. So you paid $1174 more than he has been quoted. The list price difference between transmissions is $1650, so you only paid 71% of the difference in list prices. Of course, if you have R1 tires, the list price difference is only $1080, but still not much to get excited about. From what I can tell, you both got very good deals, at more than 20% off list price.
