Hi all,

I located in the Snoqualmie North Bend area and am looking for some *good* dealer recomendations ...

There's a green dealer (Agrishop Redmond) and an orange dealer (Issaquah Honda/Kubota) within about 20 miles.

Others are Sumner Tractor (about 45 minutes away) or Jennings Equipment (again 45 minutes). Not Sure about any Massey dealers ...

Any experiences (good/bad/otherwise) with the various dealers around me would be appreciated.

Just for an idea of the capability/price range I'm going for ... currently the front runner for my purchase is the orange L39 "new" (a lightly used LTB from another maker would be considered ... 110LTB, L48, L35 ...).

Issaquah Honda Kubota is where I got my B7510 last summer. Terrific service, great guys to work with. I'd buy from them again, and probably will whenever I get a new tractor.

I've stopped in at the Agrishop in Redmond a couple of times. They seemed far less interested in answering questions and letting me look around back when I was deciding between green and orange.

Barnett Implement Co up in Snohomish (Deere dealer) was much better, easy to talk to, willing to answer questions and show you whatever model you want to look at. Its a ways for you to go from Snoqualmie, but I would go there rather than the Redmond shop if you decide on a Deere.

I never made it down to Sumner Tractor and can't offer any opinion good or bad about them.

Good luck!

John

Hi,
I think this is my first post here, but I've been lurking (and learning) for a bit.

Anyway, largely based on that lurk, I just bought a BX-23 from Scholten's in Burlington. I know that they are also a bit of distance from you, but I could not be happier with the sale, and the attention to detail they gave my purchase. Highly recommend them.

I have had very good service from Scholten's in Burlington as well as from Brim Tractor in Burlington.

I bought my tractor from Sound Tractor (www.soundtractorcompany.com) and have been very pleased. They gave me a no-hassle quote over the phone and helped with shipping my rig to Alaska. If you call them, ask for Larry and tell him some guy from AK refered you, as I'm looking at buying a GR2100 this spring from them. Good Luck

I forgot to mention Bartlett in Mt. Vernon. They gave me great service with my Deere lawn tractor

I'll put another vote in for Issaquah Honda Kubota. I bought my B7500 from Mark Hovey over 3 years ago and it was a great experience. We still stay in touch and every time I go in to the dealership he finds time to shoot the breeze and answer any questions that I have. They were very competitive and took the time to make sure I was buying the right tractor. For what it's worth, 450 hard hours later and I have not had a single failure, (that wasn't self inflicted /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif).

Well I just have to put in my vote for the out-of-state dealer. I know the general consensus is to get a local dealer/client relationship going.

Taking into consideration regional pricing, I couldn't get the salesman at Brim in Mt. Vernon to split the difference, so I bought in N. Carolina. The only hassle I had was getting the truck driver to contact me so I could arrange time to off load at a local pit, just a few phone calls really.

I really weighed the value of buying locally but over 3k in savings tipped the scales, that included shipping.

I can also say I haven't had any problems in the two years I owned the tractor and I do all my own service. I feel like things worked out well for me. Had I needed service, NH warranty will be honored at all dealers, just a matter of where you fall in the priority list. I would at least get a price for other than local and use that to see how much wiggle room the local guy has.
